The Bulldog Marching Band is headed back to Pasadena for it's second Rose Parade appearance in three years.
Fresno, CA – The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band has been selected by the Tournament of Roses Association as an official participant of the 2025 Rose Parade on January 1, 2025, in Pasadena, California. This will be the band’s second Rose Parade appearance in program history, first appearing in the 2023 Rose Parade. In addition to the 2025 Rose Parade, the band will also participate in the Tournament of Roses Bandfest with other participating marching bands. Bandfest is an opportunity for bands to perform a field show that showcases their musicianship and pageantry.
"The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band is pleased to confirm its selection by the Tournament of Roses association as an official participant in the 136th rose parade, on January 1, 2025,” said Director of the Bulldog Marching Band Steve McKeithen. “We are honored that the Tournament of Roses committee felt that our band gave one of the best performances in recent memory and have invited us back. The goal for the 2024-2025 Bulldog Marching Band will be to take our performances for this international event to a new, standard setting level. We look forward to the challenge of raising our already high bar for the second rose parade appearance in program history. Go 'Dogs and go BMB!"
The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band looks forward to sharing more information about the 2025 Rose Parade as it becomes available.

About the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band: The Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band is the largest student organization on campus-representing every college on campus-and consists of a diverse group of students from all over California, the United States, and the world. The 2023 Bulldog Marching Band is under the direction of Associate Director of Bands Steve McKeithen and features 220 members. In the last decade, the band has performed at 6 bowl games and 2 NFL games with the Chargers and the Raiders, was featured in the launch of Just Dance 2019 at the 2018 E3 Expo in Los Angeles, and performed in the 2023 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland with 6 other marching bands from the Mountain West Conference.
